SHC 4th of July Parade

SHC-logoThis Independence Day we spent the afternoon making a splash in our own backyard at the 4th of July Parade in Fort Mitchell. Our families by our side—kids riding bikes or hitching rides in wagons—we introduced ourselves to our neighbors by handing out one of our favorite keepsakes: rubber duckies!

Our truck, topped with two giant rubber duckies, pulled one of our clawfoot tubs, which had water flowing from a shower head and freestanding tub filler. Covered in white balloons and featuring a bubble machine, the float was designed to evoke thoughts of taking a luxurious bath. We had a blast walking through the crowd passing out candy and seeing everyone enjoy themselves!

It was a great day to share with our community, and we are already designing next year’s float!
