HR has reviewed the data and found that we have 100% equity in wages. As the chart below illustrates we have a large discrepancy in the warehouse in the female/male ratio.
As part of the Gender Equality Plan, we are putting the following guidelines in place:
- All interviews will need to be gender balanced for open positions. This means 50% women will need to be interviewed.
- Bias training is scheduled for October 20th at an off-site management meeting. New hires in management will also be required to complete this training.
- HR will review all job postings for bias and make sure gender bias is removed.
- We are in the process of reviewing new applicant tracking systems and reviewing pre-employment testing to make sure bias is not present.
