Gender Equality Update 4Q 2017

HR has reviewed the data and found that we have 100% equity in wages. As the chart below illustrates we have a large discrepancy in the warehouse in the female/male ratio.

As part of the Gender Equality Plan, we are putting the following guidelines in place:

  1. All interviews will need to be gender balanced for open positions. This means 50% women will need to be interviewed.
  2. Bias training is scheduled for October 20th at an off-site management meeting. New hires in management will also be required to complete this training.
  3. HR will review all job postings for bias and make sure gender bias is removed.
  4. We are in the process of reviewing new applicant tracking systems and reviewing pre-employment testing to make sure bias is not present.
